Cyprus-born entrepreneur, Peter Papas, dreamed of opening his own restaurant since he was a child
helping at his Father's NYC coffee shop. After moving to Las Vegas, Peter became the chairman of
the Las Vegas Greek Food Festival's kitchen. Attendees wanted to know where they could find the
food after the festival. This inspired Peter to create the Yassou Greek Grill Cafe with his wife and two sons.
Today, Yassou continues to serve authentic Greek cuisine to the Las Vegas area.
